Join us for an unforgettable culinary adventure of farm to table ingredients inspired by the vineyard. Start your journey mingling with Winemaker Todd as you enjoy delectable hors d’oeuvres featuring handmade cuisine from Chef Matthew Crist. Elevate the flavors even further with a tasting of Todd’s collection of limited production Signature Series wines, all included in your ticket price! Afterwards, make your way to the tables winding along the vineyard, where Chef Matt has put together an elegant dinner. Each course is paired with Hawk Haven wines selected by Winemaker Todd.

 

Todd Wuerker, Wine Maker
toddThe youngest of three sons, Todd and his older brother Ken planted the first grapevines, Cabernet Sauvignon, in 1997 before he was even of the legal drinking age. He knew nothing of wine but his roots in farming and his dedication to learning more about winemaking resulted in a veryknowledgeable individual who not only produces award-winning wines but also consults for other vineyards.

Matthew Crist, Chef
Chef Matthew Crist is currently the Executive Chef of BRINE on Sunset Lakein Wildwood Crest, NJ. As a teenager, he began his culinary career and fell in love with thefun, fast paced work environment. Shortly after, he graduated from Le Cordon Bleu at the Atlantic Culinary Academy in Dover, NH. His passion for learning has influenced him to work in various restaurants in the New England and Mid-Atlantic region and as far away as Spain. He relocated to the Cape May area 4 years ago as Executive Chef of the Ebbitt Room at the Virginia Hotel. In the past few years, he has grown inspiration from all the local and seasonal ingredients the South Jersey region has to offer. He strives for excellence and at the end of the day just wants every guest leave with a smile on their face.
